Exported nectar from Iran is a fruit from the peach family, which is also known as the hairless peach, and its taste is sweeter than peaches, and it is one of the best fruits for those who suffer from heatstroke.

This fruit is native to Asia. And it has been growing in China for two thousand years and has reached Iran through the Silk Road, and the best and best type of it is currently cultivated in Iran.

Types of nectar

There is a type of nectarine called Shaftrang or in popular dialect, Shabrang, whose red color is brighter and its tree grows fast and is a very productive species. The flesh of the fruit is yellow and the core is attached to the fruit.

Other types of nectarine are: White nectarine, Shams nectarine, Maghan nectarine, Red Gold etc., which are sometimes late.

All kinds of nectar are produced in the gardens of Tehran, Karaj, Mazandaran, North Khorasan, Hamedan, Qazvin and Kurdistan provinces, Alborz province ranks first in nectar production in the country.

Iran ranks 7th in the field of nectarine production, but unfortunately it ranks 50th in the world in terms of exporting this product.

The buyers of Iran’s exported nectar are usually from Russia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkey, Thailand, India, European countries and Persian Gulf countries.
